WHAT: PEO Grand River Chapter is hosting a presentation about the Practice Evaluation and Knowledge (PEAK) Program

WHEN: Thursday, September 14, 2017 starting at 6:30 pm

WHERE: Kitchener City Hall (200 King St. W), Conestoga Room Main Floor

WHO: Chapter members (P.Engs and EITs)

This seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the PEAK program, including what PEO license holders need to do to complete the program.

Bernard Ennis, P. Eng., Director of Policy and Professional Affairs at PEO Toronto Head office will lead the Presentation and will emphasize:

  • Why PEO is implementing the PEAK program;
  • An overview of the three PEAK program elements (practice evaluation questionnaire, continuing knowledge declaration, online ethics module), and
  • How to comply with the program as both a practicing and non-practicing license holder

There will be a Question/Answer session following the presentation.

This is a FREE event.  Space is limited to 40 participants on a first come first serve basis.  Registration deadline is September 12th, noon.

EIT Blue Jays Baseball

Join the Grand River PEO EIT committee on Saturday, August 26, 2017 to watch the Toronto Blue Jays play the Minnesota Twins at the Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto.

Event tickets include the game tickets (within section 538R) and round trip transportation (via school bus). There will be drop off/pick-up locations in both Waterloo and Guelph (exact location information will be sent to those registered for the event closer to the event date). The morning pick-up times will be 9 am and 9:45 am for the Waterloo and Guelph locations respectively. The game starts at 1:00 pm so the drop-off times will vary depending on the duration of the game and the traffic.

Who: All interested EITs and Engineering Students

What: Blue Jays Baseball

Where: 1 Blue Jays Way, Toronto, ON; Pick-up and Drop-off Locations in Waterloo and Guelph

When:  Saturday, August 26, 2017 (9 am & 9:45 am pick-up, Game Time: 1 pm)

There is a $15 event fee (Note: this is a $40+ value)

Students in their final years of university and anyone considering becoming an EIT are also invited to attend!
